Christmas Videos |

So what are you getting up to, this festive season? The usual tree, mistletoe, and stocking? Well you can put together a great Christmas video as well. And you can really let your imagination soar on this one. This could include cameos highlighting the special moments of your family like prize-distribution days, birthdays, etc. You could intersperse this with happy moments captured during picnics and festivals or simply your kid’s face when he or she got into a pickle! Or you could shoot a Thanksgiving video for keepsake with the entire family involved in the celebration.
But if you simply want to watch some special videos over the festival, here are some great ideas. You could sit down and watch ‘Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer’ or ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’. Also come recommended ‘Home Alone’ and ‘Dennis the Menace’, especially if you have kids around you.
If, on the other hand, you happen to be the ‘cartoon types’ you might want to celebrate with young ‘uns and the minuscule ‘critters’ – all swathed in blue – who live in mushrooms. Yes, I am talking about ‘The Smurfs Christmas Special’. But if you are a Mickey Mouse fan then ‘Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmas’ is a treat to watch.

For those who never get tired of viewing the antics of Tom and Jerry, ‘The Night Before Christmas’ is a full-on treat. Other videos like ‘Bugs Bunny: The Fright Before Christmas’, ‘Batman: Holiday Knights’, and ‘Sonic the Hedgehog: Sonic Christmas Blast’ also top the recommendation list among quite a few others. And if you are looking for something funny as well as cute, I suggest viewing ‘The Madagascar Penguins: Christmas Caper.’
If you like animation you might also like to view stuff in ‘claymation’ or, what is known as ‘stop motion animation’. Great instances of these could be: ‘Dayvey & Goliath: Christmas Lost & Found’ and ‘Nestor the Long-Eared Christmas Donkey’.
Then there are some videos that may be classed as bordering on the irreverent. While they don’t actually make fun of the festival – that’s such a big no-no – you can have real fun with them. Some great ones are, ‘the Three Little Pigs’ Christmas’, ‘If Santa Claus was like Fox’, ‘Scrubs Performs ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’, and ‘Jeff Foxworthy: The Redneck 12 Days of Christmas’, are among the recommended few. |
