There were all fascinated by the birth of Jesus and stayed there with their sheep. The sheep slept in the manger while the shepherds kept a watchful eye over them as they always did.
They sang the glory of the Christ child whom they had seen. They did not feel tired or hungry for all their feelings were eclipsed by the happiness of witnessing their savior.
The shepherds felt that the child would end their troubles and thanked their stars for being chosen to witness the savior from the millions of people. The place was also visited by angels as they had arrived to bless the holy child.
The angels were in the manger both seen and unseen to the human eye. As a result of all these happenings, the manger wore a divine look and was brighter than anything else.
The angles were clad in white dresses adding glory to the scene. All these events assured the people of one thing and it was that god’s own son was born on the earth and there would be equality and justice for all. |
