The Shepherds And The Christ Child

Jesus’ birth is famous all over the world. There is not a single person who is unaware of the birth of the savior of mankind. It is one of the most remembered historical events.

There are many Christians all over the world and they follow the teachings of Jesus Christ to this very day. This event is commemorated all over the year during Christmas.

People rejoice the birth of their savior. The birth of Jesus took place at Bethlehem in a manger.

He was born to Virgin Mary and Joseph of Nazareth. He was the Lord’s Messiah. The first people to look at Jesus other than his parents were some shepherds and also the three kings from the east.

The shepherds were indeed blessed and sanctified at the sight of Jesus.

An angel informed them in advance of the birth of Jesus in a manger. The three kings had a star to lead them to the place. The shepherds were taken aback by the appearance of the angel.

They also were astonished when she informed that they would be forgiven for all the sins they had committed. The shepherds at once rushed to watch Jesus who was in a manger.

The entire place was so holy that even the shepherds who arrived there felt sanctified. Even the sheep absorbed the holiness of the place and felt very comfortable in the presence of the Christ child.

There were all fascinated by the birth of Jesus and stayed there with their sheep. The sheep slept in the manger while the shepherds kept a watchful eye over them as they always did.

They sang the glory of the Christ child whom they had seen. They did not feel tired or hungry for all their feelings were eclipsed by the happiness of witnessing their savior.

The shepherds felt that the child would end their troubles and thanked their stars for being chosen to witness the savior from the millions of people. The place was also visited by angels as they had arrived to bless the holy child.

The angels were in the manger both seen and unseen to the human eye. As a result of all these happenings, the manger wore a divine look and was brighter than anything else.

The angles were clad in white dresses adding glory to the scene. All these events assured the people of one thing and it was that god’s own son was born on the earth and there would be equality and justice for all.
